This advanced course develops skills in ECG interpretation, manual defibrillation, pacing, and IV adrenaline administration. It is designed for health-trained responders who may need to lead resuscitation with limited immediate backup. Suitable for GPs, critical care nurses, Intermediate and ALS Paramedics, experienced on-site medics, and remote medics.

Course Content
Airway Management – Bag Mask Devices, Oropharyngeal Airways, Laryngeal Mask Airways, Naso Pharyngeal Airways
Arrhythmia recognition and ECG basics
Manual defibrillation and pacing
BLS revision (AED) and resuscitation algorithms (VF/VTT, Asystole, Bradycardias & Tachycardias)
Adult, child, and infant scenarios
Overview of Intubation

Pre-Requisites: Pre course reading – 4 hours 

Qualification: Successful learners receive a Pro+Med (NZ) Ltd CORE Advanced Resuscitation Certificate with endorsement.
