Electrical workers who need to keep their first aid skills up to date.
Ensure your team of electrical workers are safety compliant. This 2-4 hour course is required under the Electricity Regulations – covered by the Rules of the Board, as per the current Electricity Act.
There are two ways that electricity can cause harm. First, electric shock (electric current passing through the body) can cause severe burns and potentially dangerous involuntary physical movements. Second, arc flash (release of energy) can result in blast injuries, lung injuries, ruptured eardrums, shrapnel wounds, severe burns, fractures and blindness.
