General Event Medical Services

We provide professional, scalable medical cover for a wide range of events across New Zealand — from local community events to large, high-risk national and international operations.
Our services include:

All services are tailored to the event risk profile, crowd size, environment, and regulatory requirements, ensuring safe, compliant, and effective medical coverage.
Commercial & Industry Medical Services
We deliver specialist medical services to commercial and industry environments, including high-risk, complex, and remote operations.
Our experience includes:
- Medical services for oil, gas, and heavy industry operations
- On-site and standby medical teams for commercial projects
- Extended Care Paramedics (ECP) supporting medical centres and clinics
- Supplying medics and paramedics for New Zealand Defence Force exercises and operational activities
- Special medical projects with Air New Zealand, as well as other national and international organisations
- Film and media productions
- Remote and expedition medical support
Our teams are experienced in working within structured command environments, time-critical operations, and remote locations.
EMS Training & Education (Non-NZQA)
Our EMS training and education programmes are designed to support Event Medical Services clients and partner organisations.
We provide bespoke, non-NZQA training focused on practical, operational readiness for event and deployment environments.
Training includes:
- Customised EMS and first responder training for event staff
- Scenario-based and event-specific education
- Industry-relevant medical training packages
- Refresher and upskilling programmes for operational personnel
All training is delivered by experienced clinicians actively working in event, industry, and operational medicine, with a strong emphasis on real-world application.

All ProMed EMS medical personnel hold a current Authority to Practise (ATP) at their designated clinical level, issued and signed by the ProMed EMS Medical Director.
All medics practise in accordance with the New Zealand Clinical Practice Guidelines (CPGs) issued by the Clinical Working Group, as used across frontline ambulance services, most event medical providers, and rescue helicopter services in New Zealand.
