PHEC – Prehospital Emergency Care

 A 40-hour, face-to-face course with some self-directed learning, designed for those progressing toward emergency care first responder roles. Learners gain the skills to assess and manage emergency scenes, perform patient assessments, safely move patients, provide emergency care, monitor patients, manage stress, and complete clinical documentation.

Qualification:  Certificate of Achievement in Advanced First Aid NZQA Unit Standard 29321 (Level 3, 14 credits)

Prerequisite:  Current NZQA Unit Standard 6400 First Aid Certificate.
