Provides the student with the skills and knowledge required to deliver emergency First Aid, where a mariner has been injured, or is acutely ill at sea and use those items of first aid equipment found in ship's medical outfit which are not included in the standard first aid kit. 32 hours
This course complies with the provisions of STCW 95, as amended, (Regulation VI/4, Section A-Vl/4, Table A- Vi/4-1) and IMO Model Course 1.14 on Proficiency in Medical First Aid
